Manila Lawyers And Attorney

error in name and date of birth

Hello, when my foster daughter went to NBI for a clearance to get a passport two errors were detected: first her name she writes her whole life with 2 R’s is written there with 1. Secondly her birth certificate shows she is born the first of April but NBI says she is been born March Frist.

I read in RA 9048 that the first problem can be solved by an affidavit (but who can fix this for a cheap price)

I also read that the change of birth date isn’t possible that way and she has to go to court for that. My questions here are :

Does she has to go to the province were she has been born while she is living now in Manila?

What does this costs (lawyer + court)? I don’t know a lawyer for an affordable price in Manila? Any suggestions.

Birthcertificate

From california just call me Kathy, its been 6 months natong problema ng Mama ko, her wrong birth certificate cannot fix because of my grandfather was died long time ago and her birthcertificate from the NSO last name was her mothers name not fathers name that she didn’t even aware of that till today, at mahirap daw ifix….asap

case status

mgandang araw sa lahat ng abugado. ako po si alvin dalamput walong taong gulang taga pandacan. ako ay may kaso sa bayan ng marikina. ang kaso ko po ay qualified theft na ako ay inakusahan ng aking pinagtratrabahuhan. isa po akong acount executive o sales rep. ang inaakusa nila ay yung mga lapses ko raw ng di pag remit ng nakolekta ko samantal hinde namn ako kolector. nakulong po ako ng tatlong araw at pinalaya ng fiscal dahil sa PI muna. wal pang resolusyon ang fiscal sa kaso ko which start nung july 27 pa. sa side ko wala ako kasalanan at gawa gawa lang nila yun at sa tinging ko sa tamang hustisya ay san di naman ganun kabilis na hbanga ansa trabaho ako pagdating ko sa opisina ay pinakulogn agad ako ni walng memo o administrative hering para maplaiwanag side ko..parang meeting alng nnayare an ki claim nila yun daw ang admisintrative heraing sa opisina kaso bakit sa isang oras alng at di man alng ako binigyan muan ng memo para mgapaliwang at kung maari maipahayg ko sa harap ng abugado at ang ginawa pinapirama ako ng waiver na pinaaako yung kasalanan at sa tindi ng pang gigipit nila kse di ako pinalalabs ng opisian kung di ko aaminin kaya napilitan ako guamwa at saka nila pla pinakulong agad ako..sa akin walng due process of law..yugn karaptan ko bilang empleyado ng kumpanya at yung moral na nawal sa akin..nabalitaan ko ngayon na yung binigyan ng karaptan ng may ari magsakdal at yung witness nila an manger ko dun ay di na dun nag work…kaso wal ap ang reolusyon ng kaso ko..ang kailnagan ko ngayon sa lahat na kung lumbas ba ang resolusyon na pumabor magbasura sa kaso ko ay makakahabla pa ab ako ng labor case sa kanila at civil counter charge para sa moral at intigridad ng pagpapakulogn nila sa kin…sino ang abugado na makaktulogn sa kain an taga marikina , wal akong trabaho simula nuon at hangang ngayon kaya kung sino man makakatulogn sa kain at makakpag bigay ng maliwnag na payo..lumapit an ako sa PAO marikina akso walng maliwang na sagot…pls alng tulungan ninyo ako ialng buwan na ako tmabay at nag ak trauma sa ginwa nial sa akin na pagpakulong.

Wrong GENDER

I am STEPHANIE L. LAXA, I was born 16th of August 1972. I am having a problem with my gender on my birth certificate. Instead of FEMALE gender it was stated on my live birth certificate as MALE. I was looking for a law firm in Guagua, Pampanga and I found Mangiliman & Benoza Law Firm. I believed that this is in San Fernando but I am hoping I can get answer on my query.
Currently, I am working in Doha, Qatar, my passport will be expiring on Jan. 2010. I took my passport with the Letter of Undertakings. I am aware that upon renewal of my passport I need to correct my birth certificate GENDER status.

I already spoke with a couple of lawyers in RTC Guagua, Pampanga few years back but they require me for a COURT ORDER and it involves thousands of pesos which honestly I cannot afford to pay that’s why I haven’t got a chance to start the processing.

I am flying back home (Bacolod City, Negros Occidental) to attend my daughter’s graduation this 28th of March.

I wish somebody could give me advise or help me what I need to do.

Credit Card Settlement

I have a debt with a major credit card company and wasn’t able keep up to my obligation. I got an offer from the cc company for a payment arrangement which I agreed on and has already started paying my obligations based from the settlement.

A collections firm contacted me recently informing me that they have already filed a case against me and said that I should sign a compromise settlement with them as well NOTWITHSTANDING the cc company arrangement.

Is this valid? Am I required to sign a settlement with the collections agency even though I have already started paying for my debt in accordance with the payment arrangement plan I have with the credit card company?

I hope somebody could answer this.
