Atty. Pedro M. Ferrer obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from San Beda College of Law in 1972.

Professional Career

After becoming a lawyer in 1973, Atty. Pedro Ferrer practiced law in Koronadal City, South Cotabato. He partnered with Atty. Isaac Alvero Moran from 1973-78. Both partners handled criminal and civil cases. He also taught Political Law in Marbel University from 1972-1975.

From 1978-85, Atty. Pedro Ferrer partnered with Atty. Herculano Tagaloguin, handling civil, criminal and administrative litigation, labor, and corporate cases. His clients include the Rural Bank of Norala, South Cotabato, PCI Bank, RCBC and PhilBanking.

An active leader, Atty. Ferrer became the President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (Socsargen Chapter) from 1983-85.

In 1985, Atty. Pedro Ferrer and his family transferred their residence to Manila. In the same year, he became a partner at Lesaca, Espiritu & Ferrer Law Office at Quiapo, Manila. In 1988, he became a partner at Cedo, Reyes, Maynigo & Ferrer Law Office.

In 1990, Atty. Pedro Ferrer decided to start his individual private practice and established FERRERLAW in Quezon City. His long list of satisfied clients include, among others: Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the Mangudadatu clan, Mayor Rodolfo Gantuangco of Kidapawan, Mayor Muslimin Sema of Cotabato City, former NFA Administrator Jesus Tanchanco, former Mayor Fernando Miguel.

Academic Attainments

Atty. Jon Peter Ferrer obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2005., where he graduated with Second Honors Silver Medal. In addition, the latter’s law school thesis entitled “A Critique of People v. Mateo” was published in the prestigious Ateneo Law Journal on the same year.

In 2006, Atty. JP Ferrer passed the BAR Exams, placing in the top 10%.

Atty. JP Ferrer obtained his undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2001, where he graduated Cum Laude.

After becoming a lawyer, Atty. JP Ferrer decided to take up Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Philippine School of Business Administration. The latter finished his accountancy course in March 2010 and is scheduled to take the board examinations in May 2011.

Professional Career

After becoming a lawyer in 2006, Atty. JP Ferrer immediately practiced law in the firm as an associate.

Atty. JP Ferrer primarily handles civil, criminal and administrative litigation, labor, corporate and special proceedings cases for FERRERLAW. Moreover, he reviews contracts for corporate and individual clients. He is also well experienced in conducting legal due diligence for corporate clients.

He became a junior partner in 2009. Consequently, he is in charge of the administrative affairs of the law firm.

From November 2005 and up to the present, Atty. Ferrer is the in-house legal counsel for Right Angle Properties, Inc. He advises the Board of Directors on legal matters and issues. He is consulted upon by the Board of Directors and corporate officers on legal implications of the corporation’s real estate transactions. Likewise, the latter handles civil, criminal, and taxation cases of the corporation.
